Dr. Marlene Povilauskas is a graduate from Touro College in Bayshore, New York from which she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006. She has worked in many areas of healthcare which have included skilled nursing facilities, outpatient physical therapy, homecare, hospital based acute care rehabilitation, private practice, and school-based physical therapy.

Dr. Marlene served as the clinical coordinator of education and lead intensive care physical therapist at Northwell Health in Plainview, New York in which she obtained extensive expertise in critical care, mentorship and teaching physical therapy students. She has had many accomplishments throughout her 25 years as a healthcare practitioner.  Some of her achievements were becoming the first top 5 Allied Health Professional in the Northwell Health System to become certified in the Clinical Advancement Program in level 1 & 2. Her core emphasis throughout her career has always been providing quality care, education, mentoring and self-advancement of her profession through continuing education courses. She holds many other certifications in nutrition, wellness and health coaching, muscle energy technique, biofield technique and integrative and lifestyle medicine.
